Melo has been a professional Captain Jack Sparrow lookalike/Impersonator since 2004, he has perfected his act in a short time and is one of the most authentic and convincing Captain Jack lookalikes you'll find, he has appeared at many corporate events for major companies (as listed below), themed parties, theme park ride openings, TV commercials and radio and televison shows, including BBC Radio Berkshire, Kerrang Radio, Dragons Den, CNN (Worldwide), This Morning with Phillip and Fern and The Sharon Osbourne Show. He also recieved an award for Sexiest Male Lookalike for Johnny Depp on the televison show "Stars and thier Doubles" in 2004.
He has made promotional appearances in magazines and for major businesses including Orange, Samsung, Llyods TSB, O2 (Opening of the new O2 complex), Reading Football Club, Alton Towers and The Clothes Show at Birmingham NEC in 2005, to name but a few. He recently starred in a big top circus show at Drayton Manor, (summer 2007) which received two nominations for prestigious industry awards.
